Where we install window treatments in Penrose
We measure and install window treatments throughout Penrose, Beaver Park, Eighth Street corridor and the rest of Fremont County.
Window coverings for Penrose properties
Older and manufactured homes in Penrose often have non-standard window sizes, so off-the-shelf blinds rarely fit well. Every treatment we sell is custom-measured for the opening, whether it's a site-built home near Beaver Park or a manufactured home along the Eighth Street corridor.
Faux wood blinds stand up to dry, dusty air better than real wood, and cellular shades add insulation for winter nights when temperatures swing hard between day and night.
Manufactured and modular home considerations
Manufactured and modular homes sometimes have thinner walls and shallower window frames than site-built houses, which changes which mounting hardware will actually hold. We check the frame during your measure and recommend the mount that fits, rather than defaulting to a standard bracket that won't grip.
This is also where custom sizing matters most — factory windows in these homes often run slightly off from catalog dimensions, and a quarter-inch difference is the gap between a shade that seals out light and one that doesn't.
Straight pricing, close to home
Your written quote includes measuring, the treatment, and installation. There's no trip charge for Penrose consultations since we're only about 12 miles away in Cañon City.
We bring samples to you so you can compare options in your own light, and Todd handles the install himself — coordinated as one visit.
Questions Penrose homeowners ask us
- Do custom blinds work in a manufactured home?
- Yes. We check your window frame depth during the measure and choose mounting hardware that actually holds in manufactured and modular construction, then order to the exact size.
- Is there a trip charge for Penrose?
- No. Penrose is about 12 miles from our Cañon City showroom, so in-home consultations and measures are free with no added travel fee.
- What blinds hold up best to dusty, dry conditions?
- Faux wood blinds. They resist warping in dry air and dust better than real wood and are easy to wipe clean.
- How long does a typical Penrose order take?
- Most custom blinds and shades arrive in two to four weeks after your free measure, and Todd installs it himself as soon as the order is in.
