Where we install LVP in Florence
We install luxury vinyl plank throughout Downtown Florence, Main Street district, Rural Fremont County and the rest of Fremont County.
When old hardwood isn't worth saving
Florence has one of the higher concentrations of early-1900s homes we work in, and it's common to pull back a corner of old carpet or linoleum during the measure and find several layers of prior flooring rather than usable hardwood. When that's the case, we tell you plainly instead of pushing a refinish that won't hold up.
Rigid-core LVP gives those homes a convincing wood look without the cost of replacing subfloor and installing new solid hardwood, and it bridges the minor unevenness that a century of settling leaves behind far better than laminate does.
Rural Fremont County properties around Florence
Outside the Main Street district, a lot of Florence-area addresses are acreage properties with wells, septic systems, and outbuildings rather than city services — none of which changes the flooring job, but it does mean travel time and site access get planned into the install schedule so a crew isn't standing around waiting on a locked gate code.
Those rural properties also tend to have dogs and barn cats in and out of the house daily, which is the same durability case we make in town: a textured waterproof plank handles nail scratches and muddy paws far better than carpet.
Fast scheduling from next door
Because Florence sits about ten minutes from our showroom at 422 Main Street in Cañon City, measure appointments are usually available within days rather than weeks, and install crews aren't burning half a day on drive time.
That proximity is also why Florence customers often skip a showroom trip altogether — we bring the mobile design showroom out, measure the same visit, and you're deciding between two or three finalists before we've even left.
Florence luxury vinyl questions
- How do I know if my Florence house has real hardwood under the carpet?
- We check during the in-home measure by pulling back a corner in a closet or low-visibility spot. If it's solid hardwood in good shape, we'll tell you refinishing may be the better move; if it's damaged, painted over, or just a subfloor, we'll recommend rigid-core LVP instead of pushing a product you don't need.
- Is LVP waterproof enough for an old farmhouse kitchen with an ice maker line?
- Yes — the rigid waterproof cores we install handle a slow drip or an occasional overflow without swelling, unlike laminate, which will bubble at the seams if water sits on it. We still route the water line and seal transitions carefully so any leak is easy to spot and address.
- Do rural Fremont County properties around Florence pay extra for travel?
- No. Florence and the surrounding rural addresses are inside our regular service area, and in-home measures are free with no added trip charge.
- How soon can an old Florence subfloor be leveled and LVP installed?
- If leveling compound is needed, we usually build in an extra day for it to cure before plank goes down. Combined with in-stock material availability, most Florence jobs go from measure to finished floor in one to three weeks.
