Where we install carpet in Westcliffe
We install carpet throughout Westcliffe, Silver Cliff, Wet Mountain Valley, Rosita and the rest of Custer County.
Carpet for Wet Mountain Valley homes
Westcliffe winters are long and floors get cold. Carpet with a quality pad is the cheapest insulation upgrade you can put in a bedroom or great room here.
Log and timber-frame homes often have wide-plank or uneven subfloors. We prep those properly so the carpet does not ripple.
Samples brought to you
You should not have to drive over the pass to pick a color. We bring the mobile design showroom to your Westcliffe home and measure while we are there.
One point of contact from the first sample to the final walkthrough.
Planning around remote scheduling
Because Westcliffe and Silver Cliff sit over Hardscrabble Pass from Cañon City, we group measures and installs so weather and travel time don't cause delays on your project.
Many Wet Mountain Valley homes are second homes or ranch properties without full-time occupants; we coordinate key access and timing directly with owners who may not be on-site during the week.
Westcliffe carpet questions
- How much does carpet installation cost in Westcliffe?
- Westcliffe jobs typically run $3.50 to $7.50 per square foot installed, similar to our other rural service areas, with log-home subfloor prep sometimes adding to labor.
- Do you travel over the pass for measures and installs?
- Yes, regularly. We factor the drive over Hardscrabble Pass into our scheduling and pricing, so there's no separate travel charge for Westcliffe or Silver Cliff customers.
- Can carpet help with cold floors in mountain homes?
- Yes. A quality pad under carpet is one of the most affordable ways to cut down on cold-floor complaints in Westcliffe's long winters, more so than in our lower-elevation towns.
- How do you handle uneven log-home subfloors?
- We assess wide-plank and log-home subfloors at the measure and use leveling and prep methods suited to that construction, which differs from the standard drywall-and-stud homes we see elsewhere.
Financing available for Westcliffe homeowners
We offer Wells Fargo Home Projects financing, so you can get the floors or window treatments you want now and pay over time, subject to credit approval.
